CEA confers its first fellowships on fourteen scholars

The Chinese Economic Association UK/Europe conferred its fellowship for the first

time at its 2025 annual conference in Glasgow.

The fellowship is the association's highest honour. It recognises scholars who

have made an outstanding contribution to the association and to research on the

Chinese economy. The board resolved unanimously to elect 14 scholars to the

inaugural cohort.

The awards were presented during the Glasgow conference, which was held at the

University of Glasgow from 5 to 7 August 2025.
