Economic Frontiers: Interdisciplinary, Innovation, and Sustainability in a Changing World
The Chinese Economic Association (CEA) Europe/UK 2025 Annual Conference will be held in Beijing, China, from 18 to 20 April 2025. The event aims to bring together scholars from around the world to explore critical economic challenges and opportunities, foster interdisciplinary dialogue and highlight innovative research. It is hosted by the Centre for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEP) at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT).
In an era characterized by significant technological breakthroughs, the integration of digital solutions into economic strategies offers new avenues for enhancing productivity, improving resource management, and fostering inclusive economic growth. From smart cities and renewable energy systems to digital finance and sustainable supply chains, the possibilities are vast. However, these opportunities come with challenges that need to be addressed, such as ensuring equitable access to digital technologies, mitigating cybersecurity risks, and managing the environmental impact of digital infrastructure.
Interested contributors are welcome to submit a paper or abstract by 28 February 2025. Submissions could be in either English or Chinese（接受英文和中文投稿）. The submitted paper/abstract should include, but is not limited to, the title, all author names and affiliations, the presenter’s name and email, the JEL code, and keywords. Please note that all accepted abstracts are assumed to be permitted for printing in the conference handbook.
The organizing committee will evaluate conference submissions based on their innovation and contribution and will contact the selected submitting and presenting authors by 10 March 2025. We will adhere to the rule of one presentation per presenter.

To facilitate communications, all conference activities will be in the Beijing Friendship Hotel. The registration fee for the conference is listed below. Further details will be provided once your paper has been accepted. All attendees are required to register via email.
