It is an<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">independent, not-for-profit academic body and among the most influential<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">organisations in Europe concerned with the development of the Chinese economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its members include academics, students and business executives with an interest<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">in Chinese economic development. The association aims to improve public<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">understanding of that development and to promote high-quality research on the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chinese economy, holding annual conferences and seminars in Europe and China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CEA publishes the English-language Journal of Chinese Economic and Business<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Studies (JCEBS), registered at the TMCD research institute at the University of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oxford. The journal publishes interdisciplinary work on economics, finance and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">management relating to sustainable development.
